Important Update - see below

Attendee List

It was announced at our San Antonio business meeting that Tucson has been selected for the 2017 reunion. Alum Bruce Megenhardt, who resides there, completed an extensive review of available hotels, and secured the beautiful Lodge on the Desert, where we will enjoy complimentary hot breakfasts, two for each room plus free parking and WiFi.

Take a tour on the hotel website at: http://www.lodgeonthedesert.com/

April 18 ALERT: As we advised everyone earlier, our room block at the group rate has sold out. As of today, five additional rooms have been set aside for us at a discounted rate:

• Casita King Room (historic section of the hotel) - $136.00

• Deluxe King Room (newer section) - $154.60.

These rates can only be obtained by directly contacting our hotel rep, Lindsay Grissom Rutherford. Call her at (520) 320 2005 . Lindsay's office hours are Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Mountain STANDARD time. She alsoadvises that the hotel is nearly sold out for our weekend and additional rooms, if available later, will be at an even higher rate.

Reservations may be cancelled up until 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty.

The Lodge on the Desert is a smaller, boutique hotel with 103 rooms and suites, many with fireplaces, private patios or balconies, double sink vanities, ceiling fans, separate tub and shower accommodations. Parking is free and complimentary WiFi is included.

We envision a return visit to the Pima Air & Space Museum -http://www.pimaair.org/- that was such a success during our 2007 reunion. For early arrivals, an informal Thursday no-host dinner will be planned as well, plus our traditional Friday welcome party and Saturday night dinner. Tucson has many other attractions to offer, so mark your calendar now for this fun weekend.

We are pleased to maintain the $75 registration fee charged last year. Please hold off until the Saturday night dinner menu choices are finalized, at which time we will publish the form for completion and return with payment.

The anonymous alum that pledged a $500 matching gift for the San Antonio reunion has done so again for next year. If you would like to contribute, add any amount to your 2017 dues checks, and feel free to do so even if you’re already paid up for next year. Details are provided in the letter accompanying the monthly planning guides, which went in the mail November 18.

Alum Don Fleming is investigating the possibility of a grand reunion at the new TWA JFK Flight Center Hotel. There is a question about its 2018 completion date, which will probably slip to the next year. In any event we want to hold the 2018 reunion somewhere east of the Mississippi, and solicit your feedback on desired locations.

Meanwhile, stay turned to this website for more info. We're going to have a great time in Tucson!
